Grandma Twila Visits!!!

We have had quite the fun week!!!  We were so busy it just flew by! We started by opening Miranda's birthday and our Easter gifts from G&G Naescher. Then Wednesday & Thursday we had all 4 kiddos so Twila helped out and we were able to visit.

On Friday Gary took the day off and we headed to North Platte. We started off by going to the Children's Museum and then Fort Cody. We then went to the mall and Twila took the girls shopping at Herbergers. Then as we were leaving Malaya asked if there was a place to get her ears pierced. I was shocked because she brought it up just out of the blue. Claries was there so we went and the 2nd person had just went to lunch so we had to wait a little over an hour for her to get back in order to get her ears pierced. Malaya was so good and didn't even cry until we all said - "she didn't even cry" and then she did :)  She has been very good with cleaning them and she looks so darn cute!!!

While in North Platte we were listening to Swap Shop and we heard someone say they had a piano they would give away for free. The piano was located in Grant. I called right away and when we got home that night we went and looked at it. We actually got it to our house yesterday and I am so excited!! It's a baldwin upright and from the research I've done it looks like it was made in 1930-1940. I can't wait for the girls to start lessons now!!!

On Saturday Malaya attended a cheerleading camp put on by the high school cheerleaders. There were about 50 girls from age 4 to 8th grade. They had a public performance at 2:30 that day and it started at 8. While she was doing that, Twila helped us finish cleaning out our garage. We have FINALLY been through all the boxes now!! We hung up pictures in the house and everything is done. It feels so much more like home now with pictures up. That evening the Madrid Volunteer Fire Department put on a pancake feed so we attended that.

On Sunday was church and then Shar & her kids came out to visit that afternoon. It was fun. Malaya & Grandma also scrapbooked her 5th birthday. It turned out super cute. Monday we watched kids in the morning and then went to Ogallala for the afternoon and then Twila left yesterday morning.

Here are lots of pictures!!!
