Girl Scouts & Tea Party

We had a busy week. Monday night was piano lessons and Tuesday was girl scouts. Wednesday was beautiful so we went to the park. Thursday we went to MOPS and Friday we were home. This morning we went to North Platte with a friend and her daughter and went to an Alice & Wonderland Tea Party. The event was held to raise awareness and money for child abuse. There were different stations set up. They got to play tweedle dee & tweedle dum says, they made rabbit ears, made a tea cup, had a tea party with the mad hatter, got color in their hair & a tatto too and played golf with the queen. Very fun!

5 Days in South Dakota

We had a busy week back in South Dakota.  Malaya ended up getting strep throat on Monday so Gary stayed home with her Monday & Tuesday. We ended up leaving here at 8:30 Wednesday morning, which was really nice. We got to Rapid around 1:30.  We got to do a little shopping that afternoon and then mom made homemade chicken & mashed potatoes for supper.  Then we went to Applebees and met up with Chris & Lucy.

Thursday was Gary's 30th birthday!!!  That morning the girls had pictures taken.  It was for Miranda's 4 year pictures and then the girls together.  For lunch, I got to meet up with an old co worker and then another friend afterwards for ice cream. Then Gary had his dr. appt. and then we headed to Wall.

Thursday night Twila made supper and had cake and we had a little get together.  Mom and Dad were there as well as Larry, Tera, Cassie, & LD.  It was really nice.

Friday we got to go see the baby calves and the girls and Grandma Twila played dress up.  We also went into Wall and saw Great Grandpa Paul and Great Great Aunt Dobbie. Then we headed to Spearfish. We had supper with Mike & Sheila and then I had my Scentsy Party.

Saturday Mom and Dad came up and we had steaks for lunch. After that we left and headed for Rapid to meet up with Brandy & Nick. We went to Cabelas for a little while and then Chuck E Cheese.  Then we ate supper and headed for the motel.  We went swimming that night and then we stayed up and played cards after the kids went to bed.

Sunday morning Aunt Bonnie made us breakfast at her house and then we headed back home.  We had a great time!!

February 2013

Well, I'm not doing very well at weekly updates, but I guess monthly is better than none!!!

February has been a busy month again. Girl Scout Cookie sales start Feb 15th and we have been very busy with that.  Malaya had a goal of 210 so she could receive this dolphin ring as one of her recognition prizes.  She is at 225 boxes as of now, so she has reached her goal!!!  We also did a cookie booth at the grocery store yesterday that went well too.

The girls had fun at their Valnentine's Day Parties at school. Miranda took the bus for a field trip at the grocery store.

We've had lots of fun with friends this month.  I had a scrapbooking day with Jennifer and then her family came over and we played a game while the girls played. We also had supper at a friend's house.

We are getting ready to head back to SD on Wednesday this week. Malaya has spring break so we thought it'd be a good time to go back, plus Gary has his annual check up on his Graves Disease.
I'm also doing a Scentsy party for a friend, so it's going to be super busy!!

Gary's been busy this month building Paige a dog house. Paige loves it and after her first time in it, she went up to Gary and jumped on him just like she was saying I love it - Thank You!!!

Malaya also had a cheerleading camp last weekend. She improved so much from last year and had lots of fun!!

I was also a Beta Reader for Ann Charles' Book #4 of the Deadwood Series - Better Off Dead in Deadwood. I got a thank you from her in the mail. I loved doing it and was very excited over my thank you!!
