Our House is Under Contract!!!

We had another exciting week in the Naescher household. We started off Monday with Twila coming to stay with the girls because I had to work late. The girls had fun playing with Grandma.

On Tuesday night around 4:30 we got an offer on our house!!!  We ended up countering 8 times, but FINALLY came to an agreement!!!  It was the perfect offer because the buyers asked for no closing costs, had no house to sell, and wanted to close in 3 weeks!  Our closing date is set for August 5th. My last day of work is July 28th. Then we are moving everything down there the last weeked in July and then we're there to stay!!!  We are going to try to close long distance, which our agent said should work fine. My parents and Aunt Bonnie will be coming down with us that weekend so we'll have some help. Then Larry has the 29th off so he will help us load everything up. We are so excited to be back together as a family!!!

My cousin, Holly & her husband, Mike, and Landon & Jera, as well as their friend Ty and his daughter Valli came to spend the weekend. We went to Reptile Gardens yesterday and then to Olive Garden for supper. Then they were staying at the Ramkota so we went swimming with them in the hotel's waterpark. Then today we went to Storybook Island with them. We had so much fun and so did the kiddos!!!

They did the inspection on our house Thursday so Gary had a few things to fix, which Larry helped him with so now we just have a few electrical things Mark is going to help with and we will be good to go.

Summer Fun

Another week has come and gone. The girls and I are on our own again starting this week. Gary started work July 6th and it seems to be going well. Today we rode the 1880 train. The girls enjoyed it and then we had lunch at the Dairy Twist at 3 forks. Here are a whole bunch of pictures!!!

These deer were just down the street from where the live the other morning - I had to look twice - I thought they were lawn ornaments at first.

Moving Week.....4th of July

What a week it has been again. We did take Tuesday night off to go to Storybook Island, but other than that, it was packing, packing & more packing. Gary got most everything he could boxed up and the girls headed to my parent's Friday night. Then Larry, Tera, Joe, Cassie, Tyler, and Blane helped us load up our trailers. We were able to borrow Tera's dad's trailer and Tyler pulled it with his pickup. We loaded until around 10:30 that evening.

Then Saturday morning we had to pick up our trailer from Time Equipment. After 2 tries to get a spare tire, we finally got a "good" one. Then thankfully Gary noticed Tyler's tire was leaking air, so he had to go get that fixed and they found a nail in it.

So, we headed out about 11:30 and got to Madrid around 6. We unloaded the horse trailer and then the boys took off back to Rapid. The rest of us finished unloaded our pickup and the other trailer. The boys had to go through some bad weather and didn't get home until 2:30. Larry, Tera, Gary & I set up and talked until 11:00. Then we got up the next morning and did some more unpacking and cleaning.

Larry, Tera & I got back to Rapid around 6:30 Sunday evening. Then I had to clean this house. Boy, it sure is empty and seems really weird. Everything echos when we talk and we are down to bare minimums here...  Gary worked on our new house and got the kitchen painted and has unpacked most everything he needs.

While we were doing all that, it sounds like the girls had fun. They got to go to the Flintstones and then saw Sheila & Mike at their campground.

On Monday, the girls & I had lunch with mom and dad and then came back and took a 2.5 hour nap. We were beat!!!
