Happy Thanksgiving

It's been a crazy couple of weeks..... All of us but Miranda have sinus infections. But, we are feeling better now.

For Thanksgiving, Gary's parents came down to spend it with us. They got here Thursday around noon. Gary was on call, which was why we couldn't go home. He got called out at 1:45am Thursday and didn't get home until 7:30am.....which meant I was in charge of the Turkey!! I have never touched a turkey before, let alone know how to cook one. I called Twila at 5:30am because I knew the were up to find out what to do and then my mom was on facebook so I had her call to. I got the turkey going. Gary slept until noon so I made everything myself. I would have to say it turned out well.

We put up our Christmas tree yesterday and decorations so that was nice. We put up just part of the tree and it's so much thinner and looks much better. It was fun having them help us.

Happy Halloween

The girls both were able to wear their costumes to school for Halloween. After school, Gary & I took them to Grant's Trick or Treat Street. There are so many kids there. Then we went to Subway to eat supper and then came to Madrid and went to a few homes. The kids were so tired by the end of the day. It's hard with Halloween being on a school night.

This week has been pretty quiet, so that's kind of nice. Here's some pictures
