January is gone....

What a crazy past 2 weeks..... It has been so busy that much of it seems like a blur. We have started a class at church on Wednesday nights so I pick up the girls and we eat at the church and then Gary meets us there. Then the girls go to the nursery and we're in class for an hour and then rush home and put the girls to bed.

We had our home inspection done on the 23rd and it did not go well....besides minor issues everywhere, there was a huge drainage problem, so we backed out of our offer. My parents took the girls this weekend so we, along with Gary's parents, could go looking at more houses... we found one we really really like and are trying to decide if we want to offer. It's only been on the market 3 days and it won't last long.

Miranda ended up with another ear infection this week - her 4th one in 3 months. The Dr. said if she gets two more, we'll be looking at tubes. She did weigh 17lb 9oz this month....

I have been broke these past 2 weeks. I had stubbed little toe on the shower and thought I broke it. It hurt soooooo bad. Then I also did something to my neck and it hurts to turn left....I went to the chiropractor 3 times and she finally got it much better...I'm thinking I need a massage though to loosen the muscles

Well, I don't have many pictures to share and this post is kind of choppy, but not too much for news so.....

Our Girls Are Sick.... Again

Well, the week didn't go quite as we had planned. We ended up keeping the girls home from Debbie's Monday - Wednesday. I stayed home with them on Monday morning and Twila came for the afternoon. Then on Tues & Wed, Gary took them to Spearfish to stay with my parents. Miranda just didn't look good and still had a fever and her eyes were just glazed over. Malaya had fun at Grandma's & Papa's - She & Papa even built a snowman!!!

Then yesterday, Malaya started getting sick with what Miranda had. So, she's had a fever and is coughing. Although, it was beautiful outside today so we all went for a walk. We also played outside and Malaya even got to ride her bike. Miranda really enjoyed the walk and riding in the stroller. It was so nice to be able to get outside after being cooped up for awhile.

Hopefully this week everyone gets to feeling better!

Finally A Nice Day

Well, it was provision week....again. We made it through the week. However, there was another storm on Wednesday, and there was no travel advised from Rapid to Spearfish. Gary's boss called and told him to stay home and not chance anything, so that was really nice.

On Saturday, I had to work all day. I wanted to get in early, so I set my alarm for 5. Miranda had a rough night and was up quite a bit, so I got maybe 3-4 hours. So, needless to say, when 5am came, I hit snooze. I didn't wake up and realize what I was doing until 5:40. I got up, got ready and took off by 6:15. I made it to work at 6:30 and decided that I would run up to 8th street Starbucks for my coffee. I would have stopped at the one in the gap, but they're out of white chocolate. Anway, made it up to 7th floor by 6:45 and thought to myself that something doesn't feel right on my feet. I looked down and I had 2 different shoes on....not only 2 different ones -1 black, 1 brown. I debated for a minute what to do. I figured I could deal with the humuliation from all my coworkers for the day, but they had different heels and I knew I be up and down walking most of the day so I decided to go home and change them. I made it home and then got back in the pickup and I was almost out of gas, so I stopped to fill up the pickup. By the time I made it to work, it was almost 7:30. I was sooooooo made at myself. I guess that's what happens when you're tired and get dressed in the dark.
Miranda started with a cough Thursday night and it has just gotten worse. She hasn't been sleeping well either, so we decided to go to the doctor today. Good thing we did... another ear infection and a cold....poor girl. She got an antibiotic so hopefully she feels better soon. At least it's been 2 months since her last one.
Then it was 50 degrees out today....almost a 70 degree swing since earlier in the week and everyone was in need of some fresh air, so we headed to the park. Malaya wanted McDonald's so we stopped there and then ate at the park. Miranda loved the swing - it was her first time and Malaya is going to be so excited her sister loves to swing just like her.
Well, I can only imagine what this week has in store for us.....

Christmas with the Naeschers

We had Christmas with Gary's family over New Years weekend. We had a lot of fun. Chris, Lucy, & Butch were there too. We opened presents and then played cards. Gary got a smoker and I got new clothes. Malaya got some barbies, lego type blocks, a learning computer type game, and a display case for all her bells. Miranda got a sit/stand activity toy (she can play or push it around to help her learn to walk), ball toy, some clothes, and a display case for her angels.

Sunday we went to church in Wall and then visited Grandpa Paul and Dobbie. We brought lunch from the drug store to Paul and then went to his apartment to visit. I think we all enjoyed visiting. Malaya was in such a good mood and even gave Grandpa hugs and kisses. Dobbie enjoyed seeing us too. Then we headed to Grandma Williamson's to exchange gifts. The girls got clothes. Gary got a letherman tool and I got an engraved Christmas ornament.

We just had a really nice, relaxing weekend. It was nice to take the time and finally go see some people and not have to rush, rush.

We are now in another blizzard. No travel advised on the interstate so it's looking like a snow day. Hope everyone stays warm!!
