Christmas Time

One word to sum up Christmas this year is Blizzard!!! It was snowing pretty good on Wednesday, the day before Christmas Eve. Gary even left work early so that he could make it home. That night our family opened gifts. It was so fun watching the girls open their gifts. I was especially surprised when Gary got me a pedicure, manicure, and a massage. I can't wait to use them.

Thursday morning we headed to Spearfish. I took the day off because daycare was closed so we left with Gary that morning because he had to work until noon. We opened gifts at my parents house that night and went to church. We had homemade Indian Tacos for supper - yummy!!! When we woke up the Christmas morning - Santa Clause had come. He brought Malaya a Tinkerbell couch, Miranda a musical toy for her crib, Gary a range finder, and me a camera!! We had a very good Christmas.
During the day Friday, the blizzard got so bad that they closed the interstate. We ended up not being able to go home until Sunday morning. We spent a lot of our time sleeping, playing the Wii, watching TV (Dora) since we don't have cable, and dancing to my mom playing the organ. It wasn't how we planned for Christmas to go, but it was nice spending time with our family.
Gary had this week off with the girls. On Monday he took them to the farm. On Tuesday he had lunch with his parents and on Thursday he had lunch with my parents. It sounds he and the girls had so much fun.
We are headed to Wall tomorrow to have Christmas with Gary's family.

I had to include a few pictures from Malaya on her birthday. We had saved some gifts for her to open.
