What a Week!!!

Once again, another busy week... On Tuesday Great-Grandpa Paul came to visit us. He has never been to our place so that was nice. We finally got our 4 generation picture. On Thursday I took Miranda to see all my co-workers.

Friday, May 1 - Miranda is 1 month old today - time is going by way too fast. My sister also called to tell me that Mike had given her a may day basket with an engagement ring on top of it. We are all very excited for them.

Friday night my parents took Malaya home for the night. Malaya wanted to see the ambulance again with Papa. Gary & I rented the movie Marley & Me. We've wanted to see it, but hadn't because putting Chillee down was still too fresh in our minds. Finally we just decided we would watch it and cry. It is such a good movie and a great protrayal of our lives!

Saturday we headed to Wall to drop off Miranda with my parents and then Gary's cousin, Darin was getting married to Kelsie Peterson so we attended their wedding in Philip. The girls did great with Grandma and Papa and the wedding was beautiful.

Sunday we decided to take a drive through the hills. We headed to Custer State Park to drive through the Wildlife Loop. We only saw antelope and buffalo. Malaya does not like the buffalo (she'd put her blanket over her head when we drove by them).

Yesterday Gary came home after an hour of work because they were out of work so we spent the day together. Grandma Twila and Great-Grandma Williamson came over to the house. We had a pizza party, played play dough and finally got another 4 generation picture!

Today I had to take Miranda to her 1 month checkup. She now weighs 9lbs 6oz and is 21.5 inches. So she has grown 2 inches and gained 2 lbs 8oz since birth. She is in the 50th percentile, so she's doing fine. Then we left the dr.'s office at 11:30 and were headed home when Malaya said, Mommy, nice out, go to park. I told her not this time we need to go home and eat lunch. She said, eat at park - apples and chicken nuggets. (McDonald's Happy Meal) Then she proceeded to say, won't that be fun mommy! Needless to say, we had lunch at the park :)
