What a crazy 2 weeks. We closed on our house on Feb 22...3 weeks from the day we had the accepted offer. On Tuesday and Wednesday my parents, Twila, and Lucy worked on painting the girls' bedrooms. On Thursday we had carpet laid and Friday my parents came and got the girls that morning. Then Gary and I started moving. We had the internet set up by 9 and hauled over 2 huge loads during the day. By 3:00 that afternoon we had everything over here but the big stuff.
One of my co-workers and I came over to the house to start unpacking boxes and around 7pm the guys came with the big stuff. We were up until around midnight that night. We got up around 9 and headed to our trailer to get it cleaned up because she was showing it that afternoon. Then we came back to our new house and cleaned and unpacked. We were beat!! Sunday morning we got up and headed to Target and Sams Club. Then we had our grandfather clock to pick up at the trailer so we ran and got that. Then Brandy & Nick and the kids were in town so we visited with them too.
My parents got here around 5:30 with the girls and we had just finished up the girls' room. Malaya was so excited about her new room that it was very difficult to get her to bed that night. Both girls slept all night that nice....which was very good because we were sooo tired I don't think we could have gotten up anyway :)
During the night Monday, Miranda got sick and had a 102 degree fever. Gary stayed home with the girls that day and took Miranda to the dr. He tested her for RSV and that test was negative, thankfully. He said she just had a really bad cold. He said she was starting to get an ear infection, so he gave her an antibiotic otherwise he said she'd be back in a couple days. Thank goodness we'll seeing Dr. Burgess on Tuesday. Twila came and stayed with the girls Wednesday & Thursday. Her fever was finally gone yesterday so I was able to take the girls back to daycare today.
Yesterday Miranda's top 2 front teeth finally broke through....
Mike & Sheila stopped at our house on their way and they all played Candyland... Malaya won

Miranda's room after it was painting and had new carpet
Chris' boss let him borrow a truck they haul tires with and Gary & Chris did a load Tues & Wed night and got everything out of the storage unit

Gary's old co-worker, Larry, now works for Cross Country and he was able to borrow a truck for us with a lift

They tried for a 1/2 hour trying to get our queen box spring up to our room and it would not fit up the stairs. They finally decided to see if the windows would open up
